When asked to what he attributed the great response, Bader said, “Retailers are getting an ever-increasing number of consumers asking them about organic products, and they feel that if the supermarket can have two produce sections, then obviously conventional and organic mattresses can also be sold side-by-side.”


“This was the first market where multiple-unit mattress stores as well as major furniture outlets have taken on the line. Organics is definitely moving from the green stores into the mainstream—even Wal-Mart is adding more than 350 organic SKUs to their fall product line,” Bader continued.


Retailers at Las Vegas were clearly intent on tying up the brand in their trading areas before their competitors did.
